Keep in mind Resolve also wants a second graphics card. I run media composer on my resolve box (mac) all the time - which has 3 (total) graphics cards, but uses the decklink instead of the Nitris, so you'd loose universal mastering. Someone on the list said that if you have BOTH Nitris and Decklink, the Nitris wins - but unplug it, and media composer finds the decklink. THAT's hearsay, of course, I haven't tried it... but will eventually as I hate the KVM switch and would love to run resolve and symphony on the same box.
Your bigger fight will be getting used to getting in and out of Resolve (though I can't speak for ver9 - I only loaded that yesterday.)
