Roger cleared up the timeline settings thing, but I wanted to say there's nothing sissified about using sync lock. I didn't use it at all for about ten years, but then I gave up when I started working on FCP (a sissy thing to do, I know), because FCP always has that global PITA sync lock on, so I started to expect it to be on all the time in MC as well. I find it can actually save me operations, and the one thing I do now is use bi-directional trim a lot more than I did before, a trim function I think is actually kind of sexy. I keep a couple of audio tracks at the bottom or the timeline unlocked, so I can dump music there and montage and hack away without screwing up my scoring.

Just got a MojoDX, running Win7 64
Problems:
-An old SD project freezes the system when the Mojo is connected.
-Often i get a hardware problem (io error or something) that forces me to
reset the mojo, and reboot the system.
Non-Mojo problems:
-I often get a 'bin not found' error. Some PNG imports refuse to show up in
a certain bin after import (yes, views are set correct), just did a video
mixdown, same 'bin not found' error, and had to mediatool the mixdown in the
bin myself (that worked...). Find Bin also throws this error.
-MacDrive Pro (latest version) does not work, insists on turning itself on /
install itself but then causes trouble.
-I can't get MB looks (latest 64 bit demoversion) to run as a plugin in MC.
The old version (dunno how old) is running fine.
plain stupidities (not really related problems but have to vent)
-Why can't i batch import a PNG when the current 'still duration' setting is
set lower than the original imort?
I need to force use current settings.
-Why can a yellow mode operation get things out of sync with syncLock ON on
all tracks. Does that not defeat the whole idea of synclock?
(yes, i'm a sissy, i'm using synclock...)
