Re: [Avid-L2] Hardware raid enclosure

I've used one of these, trouble free for years, despite it being dirt cheap.

Note: This is NOT a port multiplier...you use 4 eSATA cables to your card
(I use a Firmtek 4 port eSata card). It is much faster that way...I get
over 400MB/sec.

Don't get the Rocket Raid card they offer with it. I've had nothing but
problems with Highpoint products. Never again.
