If you want the very best, you need to use Vaunix. It has 1 A power on each
port and power is extremely well filtered, clean.
Not cheap however.

I'm looking for a decent powered USB hub to plug in the myriad of card
reader devices and gadgets (into a PC-based Newscutter). There are a
