I'm using
MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz, i7
Lion 10.7.2
MC version 6.0.1.1
User Settings:
Made fresh from within MC v6
Anyone else experiencing the following?
Periodically I get the following behavior:
1. Add EQ effects and dissolves.
2. Adjust levels with Clip Gain.
3. Render (due to pops at the transitions).
4. The level then gets at least 4 dB or more) louder.
5. I clear renders in that section, then re-render and all is fine.
This is frustrating on a long program when I render everything, say for DVD output, and a section or two spontaneously becomes obnoxiously loud. With a long show, I don't have the time to watch it down before output and several times I've delivered a review cut with these embarrassing loud sections. It makes me look like I don't know to mix, not to mention adding extra busy-work to my day (clearing and re-rendering).
