Not sure. Thing is: how many of the pros really need the large workstations anymore?
Aren't Mac Pros just enormous cooling systems around Xeon chips, plus PCI slots and SATA connections?
I would imagine that a Mac Mini with Thunderbolt might (soon, if not already) be up to the job just as well. Or for most folks, a Thunderbolt iMac with an extra screen.
What makes a classic workstation mandatory, say, for Avid editors?
