You will end up with 8 bit even if you set your Avid to 185x. Avid does NOT
create 10 bit media during regular import except for DNX passthrough and 16
TIFFs. All other media, even QT will be truncated to 8 bit media with 10
bit wrapper. So your 185x clip might say 185x but it is actually just 185 8
bit.

If you need 10 bit from that ProRes 4444 media you will need to generate a
DNX 185x using another app.
