What steady glide does is stabIize the image but keeping the movement of
the camera as opposed to the old stabilizer that "fixes" a point in the
screen. Steadyglide registers the displacement of multiple points at the
same time, and then reduce that displacement proportionally resulting in an
image that is stabilyzed and and also with movement. The auto-stabilze was
introduced in v5 but I'm pretty sure that I was able to select steadyglide
in v4 also, it was not the default option but was already present in that
version if I'm not mistaken.
