Most of the needle drop libraries now have music supervisors. Buyout license? Not so much. But the three libraries we use the most have full time guys that you can email and they'll send you a list of suggestions. Just sayin, if you're using a needle drop library- they might have someone that can help you with that!!

You are right it's one of the most subjective things that gets picked on in screenings. Change the music, with no suggestion as to what to use instead, is right up there with, "Your being too literal." Means different things to different people on different days of the week depending on where the Moon is.;-)
