That's not what I said. Here is what I said "but the blacks never look right on LCDs. So a lot of time is spent second guessing and hoping." And I stand by that statement. There is a level of detail missing in LCD blacks that hinders my ability to judge what is truly there.

LCD viewing angles suck also. CRTs and Plasmas are the only devices that hold across the viewing angle.
I have a plasma for the clients. When outputting to tape, I watch the return on the plasma with the clients so I know what they are seeing. My plasma blacks always tracked with the CRT. Now, I have grown used to the OLED black, when I am viewing on the plasma I often find myself double-checking the scope to make sure black is at 0. There is that much of a difference.
