How does a Prores file indicate yo the Avid AMA that its 0-255 or 16-235 swing so that the AMA can be correct?
I don't think it can so you have to check and adjust as needed. you have a histtogram to help and the adjustment is realtime so its not difficult. you'd also want to confirm the I & P status of any unknown footage.
