That doesn't work for the way this particular offline editor cuts - the end of the clip in the upper tracks doesn't line up with the lower track. Like, for example, an interview covered with b-roll. It's an ingenious way to cut for offline - one I've adopted myself - but a real PITA in 'online' or obvious reasons, especially color correction.

I literally need a 'push this clip to the track below' button.
