the primary connection metadata. Changing the clip name (or moving the
source file) shouldn't impact on that.
If you lose the AMA link then simply linking the files again will update
Avid's media database and all instances of the clip will link.
AMA is mysterious sometimes, but Avid understands media management so they
did make it resilient. Even if it breaks it's not usually hard to fix.
