[Avid-L2] Snap-to-Edit Newscutter 9.5

I haven't been on NewsCutter for a couple of years - they seem to have 'improved' the 'Default snap to edit' feature since v7. If on, it is impossible to move the position indicator anywhere in the timeline by clicking on the TC track, other than a cut. Before you could freely click away from a cut and snap as you came close (or dragged a segment, I forget). Also with snapping off, holding Ctrl means you can snap to a cut or the In point but you can't snap to the Out point unless there is no In point set! WTF? This with a new user setting. Ah - progress. Happy to be proved wrong.

With best wishes,
