[Avid-L2] Red Epic thru Symphony

 

I am looking to get Red Epic files thru an existing Symphony 5.5 HD pipeline for an HD Cam SR output for later DCP output. The offline is being done in FCP. I would like to know opinions and caveats of this approach. Such as, setting format to RGB HD ina 1080/24p project actually 4:4:4 and XYZ colour space? Is it 10 bit or 12 bit? What is the favoured colour grading program? Would any reasonable person do this without a DS or Smoke?
