[Avid-L2] Re: OT: Semi-viral video pumping Premiere Pro (the next version)

Funny video. My take on Premiere is it lacks anything like Avid's collaboration ability. Perhaps I'm wrong but I've asked lists before and nobody has stepped up to say that Premiere now works great in a project sharing environment. Does it? My take is the Conan editors tend to work on pieces stand alone like we did in the linear days and so the project sharing limits aren't an issue for them. It feels to me that the Conan editorial staff has a bad taste in their mouth for Avid hence the leap to premiere. I personally don't get it but I don't have to. As long as it does what they need it to do more power to them. And they do make funny promo videos. It's like they work on a comedy show or something.
