[Avid-L2] Re: Monitoring Closed Caption in HD? UPDATE

 

I called Ensemble. Brighteye 72 will do 23.98 open caption display within a month or two. They are going to release a software upgrade that anyone can use to update their current unit.

Also discovered that our Leader LV-7000 waveform/vector can indeed display open captions. The function was buried down deep. Even the manual did not discuss it! But I saw somewhere on the web that it worked, and indeed it does. Crazy!
