[Avid-L2] ordering digital files

 

I am importing a bunch of files that were transcoded from EX and also a bunch of 5D files. I always wondered why the files have such a cryptic label of seemingly random numbers and letters. But the creation date is the transcoded date and I need to work on this in a linear fashion so I am trying to order the clips. Is there a way to order, by date and time, clips imported from digital sources?
