Looks (specifically Looks 2) is currently the only part of the suite that hooks into Media Composer. However, a subset of Cosmo and Colorista functionality exists within Looks 2 so not all is lost. For that matter you can emulate most of the Mojo vibe as well (although not in such a straightforward manner).
I recall when that update came down the pike it seemed a bit misleading as to MC support, so it's not surprising that some folks thought the whole thing would light up in MC.
Call RG sales and let them know your situation.
