I'll have to look at what Adobe might be doing there. Yes, we have a Rosetta Stone feeding a Blackmagic-Desing Videohub. I might go direct from the serial port to the deck to take that out of the equation.

I've had an issue where the Adobe PDF Writer virtually took control over COM1. Once I changed that to LPT1, the COM1 port fell free for deck control again.

You do have a Rosetta Stone in there, right?
