Re: [Avid-L2] Setting default user for Fibre Manager?

Well, I believe that the default user name in the Fiber Manager application is the user that your workstation is logged in as. So, you could make a new user on your workstation that matches the user name you want to use with Fiber Manager. OR....

Go into the Unity system and make a new user in there that has the name of the user that your workstation defaults to. And don't forget to set the access permissions in unity if that is the option you choose.

I then type in the proper user which requires no password and everything works as expected. Where can I change the default user so I don't have to retype the proper user name each time I start FM up. I would look in preferences for Fibre Manager but that choice is greyed out. Is this something I would address through the administration tool? Not much of a unity user so these basics aren't in my knowledge banks and it's the weekend with no one around to ask. TIA
