Yup I'd call it a cosmetic change. It doesn't change the functionality at
all.
I know when I've hit the play key and when I'm playing. I haven't missed the
green indicator at all.
I can appreciate that others may find comfort and a need for it but not me.
We also lost super bin of course and there have been numerous other changes.
Some great some not so great.
But again for me the priority needs to be continuing to tighten up the new
code and working on the new features.
The Avid community has a features request forum for users to add their
feedback on changes to the software feel free to add the request.
