I doubt it. I don't think anything we've seen so far in these updates has been a reaction to user requests. These are probably all features that were in the works, but didn't make it in time or needed to wait on something in the OS. Odds are FCP X was launched a year early and you are finally seeing most of the app as the developers had intended at launch time. I think we now have a really clear idea of what FCP X is meant to be for better or worst. If you are pining for any given "missing" FCP 7 feature, it probably ain't gonna happen.
