There are a few of them out here on the rock and they are archiving quickly and reliably. The real test will be "long-term" recoveries.
GigE is the networking link right now. But a faster SAN connection such as PCIe would be helpful.
Cache-A's come with their own simple UI, It has some quirks. They seem pretty transparent to use, until you step into the world of asset management software. At that point you've really stepped in it.
