[Avid-L2] Export as source - reimport via AMA - cripppled?

 

Hi all,

coming back to Avid after years and even though lurking Avid-L I truly need to get some blind-spots enlightened. And who to ask if not Avid-L?

Ok, we did a multicamera-production in native DNxHD 185X and exported the final sequence for delivery: QuickTime Movie, Same as Source, use Avid Codecs, 601/709, 16:9 Square Pix. We delivered. The recipient though called me this morning: the file does look fine in QT Player but if reimported via link to AMA into his MC6 it's all crippled: colors are way off, resolution is HD (1080i) but it looks blocky on all diagonal lines...

So we checked here, too, linked to AMA - and got the same result. After a intense MAnual-session we came up with nothing on that matter so:

What are we missing here, any ideas?
