[Avid-L2] 3D questions

 

Hi group,

I've been asked to help with some 3d tests. I've worked in 3d before -- in FCP with Cineform -- but not with Avid. Since I'm returning to Avid after a five-year affair with FCP (don't ask; it ended badly), I'd like to cut these tests in MC.

oh, yes... I'm on 5.5.3 on a Mac.

I gather that the standard procedure is to sync right and left eyes with Metafuze before editing, and Metafuze is a PC only program. Is there any other way to do this, a more Mac-centric way?

I know I can borrow a PC from our accounting dept, but I'd rather stay in my Mac world if it's at all possible.
