Re: [Avid-L2] QuickTime X and Reference movies

QuickTime X doesn't support plug-in codecs. You get the ones that are
there as standard and that's your lot. That's one reason why QuickTime
7 is still around.
I get the impression that Apple started work on QuickTime X, but then
got distracted and lost interest half way through.
