We used LG and have been very pleased. If you take optical audio out then
the audio delay matches the video. Also Samsung are apparently good because
the UI allows move adjustment of the colorimetry of the monitor. And you can
get bigger sizes of these than broadcast monitors.. we have 28'' in our
suites now and everyone is very happy and a fraction of the cost of
broadcast solutions, we had when we were doing SD

Subject: [Avid-L2] Re: Ideal External Monitor for Matrox Mini
That sounds tremendous Nick, but I just priced that online and it's a
lot too rich for my blood and I'm hoping to buy a 32" monitor. I know
I'm asking a lot for a little, but I figure I should ask around to find
out what the best consumer-level monitor is for the situation. Maybe I
can't get all the features and qualities I want at a modest price point;
it's still a question of what exactly I can and should get.

If you want to donate to Red Cross quake relief, you can do so through your cell phone. Text redcross to 90999 to make a $10 donation. It will be on your next cell bill.
