Hi there,
This is good although
. I have a feeling people are now using AMA for big
long projects and this way isn't entirely practical for long projects. We
are doing projects with 100+ bins and 6 weeks shoots
We need to understand how MC knows where the AMA media used to be and how to
look at that. So then we could remount drives using the same drive letter
rather than relink everything. We have started to manually write down how
the drives were mounted.. Although we don't know how to do this between MAC
and PC.
Also to understand performance implications would be good. We found for
example that the amount of clips in a bin is hugely significant to
performance. Much more so than with ordinary projects..
More documentation please!

doing the trick. How can I replace the source file of an AMA master clip?

If you want to donate to Red Cross quake relief, you can do so through your cell phone. Text redcross to 90999 to make a $10 donation. It will be on your next cell bill.
