I sure hope Avid did not think they would get a huge influx of ex-FCP'ers with that promo. First, FCP-X is not that bad and will get better. Second and more importantly, you need to create success for yourself by showing how much better your own product is, rather than say "come to us because they suck". Adobe had a better answer.
