MacPros are Gigabit and there is nothing to crossover.

Use a normal Ethernet cable and give the Macs IP addresses in the same
range and you will be fine.

It's called a Crossover cable but I recall reading years ago that at
some point Macs did not need this - just a regular cable. Mind you I
know next to nothing about networking!
