Re: [Avid-L2] Bump clip keyboard Short Cut?

 


I have this problem with moving clips generally in FCP, since it won't let you slide groups of clips the way Avid will. In selection mode in FCP, it seems the only thing I can do is drag clips earlier or later if I wish to overwrite. If I wish to move them numerically or with the trim keys, it gives me clip collision messages. As with all things, sometimes you want to do one, sometimes the other. I wish there were a modifier command that allowed you to choose.

Actually, I like that shortcut, although FCP7 protects you from your own idiocy
by not allowing any keyboard commands to overwrite other clips :-(. It's my
edit, let me move it!
