Sunday morning answer:
(well, i still need to go to bed, don't think i'll make Church today.)
Not that i know of, but it can be done with a series of commands.
Go to beginning of clip, mark clip, match frame, patch, insert, patch, lift.
(the second patch/delete is to defeat Avids stupidity to remove mark points
after deleting a clip)
Too much work for my taste, i grab the mouse and poke around in Avids
Kingdom of Keyboard Shortcuts.
But i only need to to this kind of stuff with effects work, and then i
already have the mouse in my hand.
For normal work i have dialogue and alike on V1, b-roll / cutaways on V2,
lower thirds and alike on V4 (leaving V3 for whatever)

If you want to donate to Red Cross quake relief, you can do so through your cell phone. Text redcross to 90999 to make a $10 donation. It will be on your next cell bill.
