[Avid-L2] Re: Moving Picture doesn't like long name?

 

When you add a dissolve to the moving picture you have to go back in to the MP effect and you will see that the original keyframe is at the original cut point before the dissolve was added. There will be addition time after that original end keyframe, assuming you added a beginning and an end keyframe to start with. Add a new keyframe at the very end of the longer timeline and copy your original end keyframe to the new end keyframe and delete the original end keyframe and voila the move continues. This probably reads more confusing than it is. Just make sure the original end keyframe is moved to the very end of the MP timeline once the dissolve has been placed on. It may not be exactly perfect but a lot of people still use multiple tracks to have moves continue through the transisiton.
