[Avid-L2] AAF 2GB Limit

I'm been experimenting with exporting AAF files with embedded video as a
more elegant way to pass material around as a single file, rather than a
file and a media folder. I understand that checking the "AAF Edit
Protocol" box will allow you to create an AAF file bigger than 2 GB.
However I have never been able to open one back up in MC. I always get an
error - "Exception: AAF Domain: Failed to open file for reading.,
hr:-2147483644". It won't open on the Mac or PC versions of 5.03. Embedded
AAFs under 2GB work fine.

Did Avid solve the problem of creating an AAF bigger than 2GB, without
solving the problem of opening one?

Ian
