Re: [Avid-L2] Media Tool in 5.0.3 on a Mac getting NO RESULTS

Good thing to check, Robert. All files in the MXF folder say V01.

I thought that the audio files in the MXF folder had .aif or .wav suffixes, too. That was one of the first things I checked, but then I thought I might be wrong and that even audio files have .mxf suffixes. Does anyone know if that's true? I think it is, but I'm unsure.

The DRIVE that all of the video clips are linked to is my RAID, not the USB drive. (according to the DRIVE column in the bin) I don't have any audio clips in the bin, so that doesn't help me find where the audio is on a drive.

Thanks Ben, too for the all drives console command. Unfortunately, after running it, the Media Tool is still empty. Trashing Media Databases also fails to fill Media Tool.

I appreciate those suggestions. Like I said, I think they forgot to send the audio. Looks like that's the case. Thankfully my lip reading skills are impressive and I can do great sound effects and music production with my mouth. If you see promos on air for an un-named TV show with me reading all of the parts and where the sound effects and music sound like they were done by an adolescent boy with his first karaoke machine, you'll know I worked on them.
