[Avid-L2] Re: 1080 to 720 levels Q

 

5800. No level mismatch. And it's not really a full shift. If I look at bars, the 100% white is about at the right place and Black is about at the right place but there is a lot of noise peaking up at 110 and black noise down to -10.

It is certainly (not likely though) that both the SR Format converter and the Teranex are not working correctly but that seems to random (but not ruling it out yet). I've spoken to Sony and they are looking into it. It was too late by the time I left a message with Teranex.
