I have handbrake, QTPro, VLC, mpeg streamclip, AE, Premiere, FCP, Avid, iMovie and probably a few more. Curious if anyone has a methodology of manipulating problematic files. For example if I can't ama or import something into Avid is there a preferred order of other apps to try? Like start with Mpeg streamclip then VLC etc.. I'm sure there's no absolutes here but what do people like to try first.
