Avid is not looking at the entire sequence and is buffering based your
input. I've often had to use the search and destroy method where you break
down the sequence (sub sequence) to find the offending clip(s)
watch for motion effects and freezes, Pglue has shown it's nasty head based
on that.
Also, are you getting pglue when you use next edit/previous edit and trying
to play from the edit point. If so, try stop at tail edits in your prefs and
remove stop at head edits.
This often fixes 90% of pglue errors.
