[Avid-L2] FCP X

Apple is gearing towards a tapeless fast workflow and not film or long-form. If its true they are breaking up the suite and
may even get rid of Color, then they really do not have professionals in mind and are aiming towards the masses. If they stop selling the apps as a suite, will the interoperability between FCP, Color, and Compressor still work?  The emphasis in this version seems to be on fast ingest, fast
(invisible) rendering, and fast, mindles, editing (auto features).

But with things like "auditioning", I can see potential bugs. Remember how poorly FCP multicam worked when it first came out? Imagine you're laying off the timeline and forgot to collapse the audition clips and due to an old render, it throws a different shot in...
I'd be happier if they made the render manager actually work correctly and renders actually re-link.

It probably will also require a new OS and high end machine which I'm really unhappy about as a freelancer in a recession.
