From memory, QTchange once had a bug that did not calculate the duration of
the clip. (forgot when i've changed this)
The THM seems written after the recording, thus the start tc should be THM
tc minus clip duration.
That could not explain it though, unless i've made another error
somewhere...

I'll have to dive back in. It's been a while. I also don't believe in
altering the original camera files in any way, since this is a destructive
change to your camera "masters". As far as THM issues, what I've seen -
using several different applications - is the resulting files have
overlapping TC. Technically this shouldn't be possible, since the files are
recorded in a consecutive manner on the same camera. Unfortunately this
wasn't consistent between projects, so it could simply be a problem with a
single camera's firmware.
