I think they do. And what is SXSW, if not aspirational? Or Sundance? Or Jackson Hole?
Honestly, I'm on the fence here. I see it both ways. But look at RED. Most of the users hopped on board because of the chance to make their indie movie and be the next big film director, like Peter Jackson.
But again, getting back to Symphony. There is nothing in any of these anecdotes that makes a compelling argument from Avid for buying Symphony over MC. Not in actual features nor in marketing the product. That's the crux of the issue.
