AFAIK, Alexa writes ProRes proxies. (with a few problems that 'should' be
ironed out in the last cam firmware)

Marvin offloads and gives you the opportunity to do some grading.
It then renders offline clips to DNxHD MXF that you just mediatool in.
At least, that was the plan several months ago, i've worked on it a bit.
I assume it is build in now, ask Guus Zijlstra at Marvin: guus.zijlstra at
zinias dot netherlands
(he's the main coder)

The plan was to support as many cams as possible, so Alexa should defintily
be on the list.
If it does not work now, it should be relative easy to build in support.
