[Avid-L2] Re: AVC-Intra Workflow

 

Actually there are shops - even in LA - that are successfully adopting all-AMA workflows. This is especially easy with AVC-Intra, because it works quite smoothly as a native file format in MC5. Plus it's MXF to start with.

Cut until done using AMA and then transcode for color-grading and output.

The key issue is not to move the media locations around from where they were when you started. That's the same in FCP or Avid.
