Version 5 has problems with media, clip and/or sequences from older versions
of the software.

For example, filler Sapphire v3 from v2.x of the software will get the same
error you mentioned unless you replace the filler.

I have seen the errors also in "old" multicams and sequences with no FX.

Try removing the FX. Sometimes you get lucky that you can reapply the same
FX from the bin. Sometimes you have to rebuild it from scratch.
