Re: [Avid-L2] Keyboard shortcuts for Symphony color correction tabs?

Actually, it wasn't the shift key. I just didn't understand what key combination would allow me to assign the tab shortcut. I have it working on the both the top level and shift keys now. I just wish Avid would do a better job of documenting this function; it's really quite a good thing.

Thanks to all for the helpful responses.

Best,
Shirley

Yes! The shift key was the issue. I experimented, and holding down the option

key while pressing the mapped tab key assigns a CC tab to it.

I thank you, and my tired arm thanks you!

How you describe what you WANT to do IS how they SHOULD work. Try it WITHOUT the

shift modifier. See if you can get it to work on a "clean" key.

If not, try creating a new keyboard setting in your user setting. I, for

example, have a keyboard setting that I ONLY employ for color correction.

If THAT fails, then try to start with a fresh user. It's possible your user

setting is corrupted and you don't know it.

with the option modifier to set up a command, but now the system just ignores

me. I have them mapped to the shift side of the keyboard.
