I think it really depends on how much effort and cost you want to put into
the conversion of the 25P footage.
You can use Avids motion effect and if need be promote them and tweak them
for the online but the renders can get long and the results variable.
Using the ignore frame rate route will ensure a clean frame for frame import
with the consequence of speed change. (either slowed down if you bring it in
as 23.98 and then brought back to 30i using pull down) or sped up if you go
straight from 25 to 30. Depends which looks best.
For the best quality (I'm not a fan of pull up or down as a conversion
method) I'd use the Avid motion effect for the offline. Then decompose all
the 25P footage and lay off to a master tape at 25P then have that standards
converted using a high quality motion estimation process and then re-capture
the result and cut that in.
It really depends on what look you can live with and your budget/time.
