I have a tape-box (like a case of 10 60 minute beta size) full of various SCSI, DB9 to DB9 and VGA cables that I was about to post on Craigslist as a giveaway. Most of the SCSI cables came from one avid system or another - I kept a pair just in case, but don't see a reason to store the rest.
Anyone on the list need it? I'll send it to you for the price of shipping - about $10.
Same goes for an Avid 888 - I'm pretty sure you all have on of these sitting around, but if not, I'd rather send it to someone who can use it, so it doesn't end up landfill. That one won't make it to craigslist, I'm afraid, if YOU don't want it, it's electronics recyle
Further, as mentioned before, I have a powermac 8600 with several RS422 cables, monitor adapter, keyboard, and mouse, that includes a seat of 'cutter,' ideal for machine-to-machine cuts only assembly from EDLs.
and, I've put some power conditioners/ups for sale on craigslist - basically giving them away, but put a small price on them so they don't just end up as landfill. They just need new batteries.
