Media Composer has had to be rebuilt as well as the code bases have
changed. It is NOT possible to know what code is going to need to do
in 10 or 15 years.
Which is why Media Composer was so bad at non-tape sources until 4.0
and 5. When they rebuilt the app because this wasn't planned for 20
years ago.
