I do long form docs exclusively for a major network at a large post facility in NYC and script sync is quite a valuable time saver, but it would be INVALUABLE if the writers/producers could use it before it goes to the edit room as well as use it in the edit room. As a matter of fact it would really be great if it were bundled with Media log. Then the APs and WEs could use it as well.
Then it would be worth the extra cash, Without it, it isn't.
I thought (and was told) that this is where they were heading. Is it?
I hope so.
